We are having the same issue.  Funny thing is we have a test AD domain with a test iFolder server and everything is working there.  I pointed my production iFolder to my test AD box and everything works as well.  This points to a problem with AD in our production environment.  We are currently going through the security settings in both environments and seeing what is different.  Anyone else get any traction on this?
