PLEASE HELP!

I have now setup ifolder sereral times without any luck! My current config is based on the iFolder Appliance by sshaw from www.descriptor.com. I have then upgraded the iFolder version to the newest versions from www.ifolder.com:

ifolder3-enterprise-3.8.0.9328.1-2.1
novell-ifolder-enterprise-plugins-3.8.0.9328.1-3.1

I have tried installing this software on opensuse 11.1, 11.2 and 11,3

I have followed the pdf document wich describes AD integration. The installation and initial config goes very well, the initial LDAP sync is also OK, all the users a populated into ifolder.

However, afterwards every time a user tries to login they get an invalid username or password error. Looking in the simias.log files I see the following error message every time a user tries to login:

2010-04-20 16:39:43,267 [1500748112] ERROR Simias.ADLdapProvider.User - Error:Resulting timespan is too big.

I can login with the ifolderadmin user:

Resulting timespan is too big

Resulting timespan is too big

2010-04-20 16:39:52,838 [1500748112] INFO Simias.Server.Authentication - Authenticated User iS : 75b63e9a-1c8f-4883-b1fc-dda43eb73c9c:ifolderadmin Success

Now there are some posts regarding this on the internet, and the solution they present is to reconfigure the simias.config like this:

<section name="Identity">

<setting name="Assembly" value="Simias.ADLdapProvider" />

<setting name="ServiceAssembly" value="Simias.Identity.LdapProvider" />

<setting name="Class" value="Simias.ADLdapProvider.User" />

TO:

So you seem to thange from Active Directory to Novell LDAP?? This however soes not work, it seems to work! After the change all the users CAN login, but now the LDAP sync does not work anymore. This means that after the scheduled sync, all users gets disabled. After the grace period all users get disabled.

The documentation states the with iFolder 3.8 Active directory IS supported. Hwo is supporting this and how? I tried logging a case with novell support, but they clearly stated that they ONLY support ifolder if it is installed with an open enterprise server, and you are paying per connecting user!!! We have licenses for that, but we are moving away from eDirectory, and you cannot install an OES server without eDirectory
