you need to use all ldap key "CN=Administrator,dc=xxxxx,dc=xxxx" as username.

Using that as a username would still not work, let alone a big inconvenient. Please when the services try to look up and authenticate the user, it is some how still using the search context with the CN=users container. Is there not a commandline that we can use to access the databases, if the simias databases is like any other databases there should be away to control it with command line.

Thank for the help, but i just figure it out the while playing around with the files, that there is a way to force the ifolder to sync to the new LDAP without going through the web admin console and that seem to work for now. I don't know yet how if there will be any users issues as the test is still going on.  The way to force the sync is in the simias config file, there is  an option call "sync on restart" the defualt is "no" just change that to a yes and restart apache.
