I guess i should have alluded to my desired setup...LDAP users.  I'm not necessarily looking to manage local accounts and I would think for the most part most people setup iFolder pointing to some sort of LDAP back end.  As far as use case, I'm just simply looking for more flexibility for client deployment.  For example, I run a mixed environment (WinXP, Vista, Win 7 and Linux)..I know..it's a mess....but why not have one control file (AutoAccount.xml or whatever) be available to check the OS type and set therefore allow me to set their default ifolder location...we like to use "My Documents" or "/home/name"  as default.

I don't want to have to jump through hoops with my login scripts/deployment tool/etc...just want to keep things simple and manageable.

Thanks
